I hired Stacy Smith Photography to photograph our intimate wedding and I was blown away! Not only did she walk me through all of the options I had but the fact that I got to customize our own wedding package was awesome! We didn't have to pay for anything extra we didn't want or need (when planning a wedding we all know the budget gets tight and paying for unnecessary things is painful). She kept touching base with us to make sure we were all on the same page and I loved that my ideas were heard and I felt like she understood exactly what kind of photography we were looking for.
On the wedding day she and her assistant were real troopers! It was so hot and humid and we walked over a mile with our wedding party to the formal photo location! Stacy never complained. Instead, she straddled a stream, laid on the ground, fixed my dress and even adjusted my strands of hair! All the guests at our wedding LOVED her and the other vendors enjoyed working with her as well! We opted to rent her photo booth too and it was an absolute HIT! The guests loved it and the scrapbook she puts together with all the photo strips is such a great keepsake!
After everything was packed up and she left I couldn't wait to see how the pictures came out, after all they are all you have left to look back on to remember your special day. Needless to say, I was completely in love with every shot!! The pictures came out exactly as we wanted and they are truly the best way to remember our day. Anyone looking for a personable photographer who will go above and beyond for your special day, Stacy Smith is the one for you!

Stacy Smith and her team are simply awesome in every aspect from service to cost. We truly received our monies worth. They took all the traditional pictures you would expect, but the creativity of many of those poses as well as the candid shots were amazing. And if you want to talk about responsiveness and flexibility, the word "NO" was never used....instead we would hear "GOT IT!" And how many people can say that not one picture was blurry, out of focus or the color looks funky....we can!
If you don't use this team you are doing yourselves a disservice. And as father of the bride, this was one vendor we could ( and you can) depend on to do the job on time, deliver when promised and guarantee the pricing...all with a big smile and the satisfaction of a job well done. Stacy Smith photographed my wedding in December 2014. From seeing the previous work she had done, I had absolutely no hesitation in hiring her to photograph my wedding. Let me start by saying that Stacy is a TRUE professional. She is respectful, courteous, and most importantly, she understood all of our visions. She exceeded all of our expectations! My husband is of Indian descent, and I am as Irish as they come... Yes we did it!!!!! We planned a crazy big Indian wedding. I needed all the help I could get. Planning a wedding is hard enough, but planning an Indian ceremony with all the traditions and all the details was extremely overwhelming. I know we had to pick the perfect vendors so this would go off without a hitch.
I started researching all the Indian vendors out there. We did a lot of research and we just couldn't find a photographer who really understood where we wanted to go with our vision. I was looking for someone with a lot of creativity and ideas. Brides, look no further than Stacy Smith Photography! Stacy blew our mind with her great ideas, I didn't think anyone could pull off. Needless to say, SHE DID!!! From start to finish, Stacy was incredible. She was just as excited as we were about it all. She captured every important detail of our wedding....16hrs worth! She truly went above and beyond.
All you have left after your wedding is your pictures, and every time anyone comments on our pictures - they are in amazement on how beautiful they came out. We couldn't be happier. Taking the photos was a lot of fun because Stacy knew exactly what she was doing, and so the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and organized. The photos were incredibly artistic and beautiful. (All 1,300 of them!!!) Stacy's vision and skills and her love for photography truly shine in her work. Our images give us a chance to revisit the happiest day of our lives. My husband and I weren't sure how our engagement shoot would go since we had never done anything like that before. We met and spoke with Stacy multiple times beforehand and felt more and more comfortable as the date of the shoot approached. She made the experience exactly what it should be! I was very happy with my decision to hire Stacy as the photographer for our wedding. The photos that she took are amazing! I also had her photo booth at my wedding which the guests had so much fun in! Stacy made a scrapbook with all the pictures from the photo booth and I love looking at it. My husband and I were married in Aruba, but had a reception back in Rhode Island. I saw Stacy's work and knew we had to have her for our engagement photos and our reception back home! My husband and I wanted to do something different for our engagement photos, not just the posed pictures in the park (not that there is anything wrong with those) and we came up with the idea of doing a pin up style engagement shoot.
When I brought our idea to Stacy she was beyond excited and came up with ideas right away. To say the whole experience was amazing is an understatement! Stacy went above and beyond for us. What do I mean by that? She got us into an airport to use an old school propeller plane to go with the destination wedding theme AND an old classic Chevy Belair car. We got to take photos with both! We were more than impressed with her professionalism and creativity that when our wedding reception came, we were thrilled to work with her again.
My husband and I have large families, all different ages and personalities and Stacy and Moe were fantastic on getting all the photos we wanted and getting everyone to cooperate. Now, I'm 8 months pregnant and just had my maternity shoot with Stacy and have already booked my daughter's newborn and 1 year shoot! I have recommended Stacy Smith photography to friends getting married and most have used her after seeing what she can do! Her creativity and how she goes above and beyond for her clients is what makes her stand out from anyone else out there and I'm very lucky to call her my friend!

Stacy is an amazing photographer. She is extremely accommodating and flexible. I hired Stacy to do my boudoir sessions and my family portraits as well. She is fun and full of great ideas. She made everyone feel comfprtable. If I had any question I could contact her and she would respond back quickly. Stacy would stay in contact with me before the wedding just to check in and see if I had any new ideas or questions. Stacy also gave me different ideas for poses. My husband and I are extremely happy with the outcome of our wedding photos done by Stacy Smith! From the beginning of the process to end. She was very on the ball with prepping and going over everything we wanted prior to our event. Stacy was accommodating with all of our needs. The day of our wedding she was there early and ready to go. She took great shots of everyone getting beautified which were my favorite. All of my girls felt very comfortable with her since she is so easy to talk to and work with. The photo booth at the reception was a total hit. People still talk about it three years later. Stacy is an amazing photographer! She is very friendly and patient. When I first contacted Stacy we met and went over everything. She gave me great ideas and asked for my ideas and what I was looking for. She wanted to make sure my ideas happened and worked with us every step of the way. If I had any questions, all I had to do was ask and she would get back to me right away. She stayed in contact with me throughout everything. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Stacy photographed our wedding on 6/7/14. She is a personal friend of ours who would have been a guest at our wedding if she wasn't photographing it. I adore all of Stacy's work so much that I hired her to do my daughter's newborn session last June. However, I was hesitant at first to hire her for our wedding because she is a friend. I didn't want her to feel like she was "working" while her fiancé and friends were there for a party. Stacy is one of the most creative people I have ever met. It is completely evident in her work. I have had the pleasure of working with her for two of the most important events of my life, my first recital as a dance studio owner and my wedding. She caught moments that not too many people would notice but when it's captured you can't take your eyes off the image!
